Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Time After Time

It's times like these that you have to capture the moment for posterity. This week, I decided to abandon classic bedtimes songs for ones that I like. I sang "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper (there's been quite a few remakes, but I sang it like hers). I didn't think anything of it until today.

I was in the other room making lunch, when I heard Allex singing "Time After Time", to our Cat, Heidi. He sang it with such tendernous, my heart just melted. Apparently, the words meant a lot to Allex and he was singing a sweet lullaby to his little baby. It was precious. Tonight, we sang it together.

    The chorus is...

"Sometime you pictured me, I'm walking too far ahead
You're callin' to me, I can't hear what you've said
You said, "Go slow, I fall behind"
    The second hand unwinds...

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me,
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting,
    Time after time

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me,
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting,
    Time after time"
