Enjoy the ride.

12 homes have burned and 2,000 more are threatened. Several of my friends have been evacuated. My Mom's house is close to the fire, but she hasn't been told to evacuate yet. My house is out of danger at this point. Emails are flying back and forth with everyone checking in on friends and family. It's a very scary time. We are breathing smoke and ash is falling all around. I've never been this close to a fire before. We are a tight community and everyone is really pulling together to help. I hope we all come out of this alright!
