I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Pretty Colors

I was hopping to write an entry this evening on the brilliant solution I found to the ColdFusion/Java/XML/Webservice issue that I've been struggling with for the last day or so. Well, I never found the solution, so that will have to wait till next week. However, the reports that would have been generated by this system that couldn't be finished still need to exist tomorrow. So I'm in the office late (I procrastinated a bit first to clear my mind. I now have a lvl 11 Tauren warrior named Hart.) with all the lights off and my music turned up loud. To complete the environment of report generating joy I've found every sources of rotating color lights and set them up on my desk. I've got my google cube radio set on 'just light;' I have my USB Christmas Tree; I have iTunes doing it's visual thing; of course the monitor is staring at me; and then there are the two optical mice, and the blue cyclops of my external Firewire drive. Thus I am content.
