I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

mulholland drive

I slept through the night! It's actually been a few weeks since I could say that. This also meant I was DEEP asleep when my alarm went off, so I hit the snooze a few times ... I'd given myself decent leeway, but I checked sigalert just in case. There was an accident on the 405 south, south of the 101. That's about as bad a location as possible as far as my commute goes.

I fired ugoogle maps and found a route through the mountains that would drop me on the 405 south of the accident. This took me through a scenic section of Mulholland drive, and even with most of that section restricting me to 30mph, I made it from Apartment to work solidly under an hour. I use these services on a daily basis, but it's times like these that they really shine.
