BLEEAAAYYAACCHHH!

I have the hangover from hell. I went to Jen's house last night to drink some wine with her, Lydia, and Vic. It was nice to finally be around supportive people who don't think I'm selling my soul to go to B-School. People seem to think I actually LIKE having to work my ass off four nights a week at Hell's Kitchen and waking up every morning for work at Hell-Hole Publishing. Yeah...ok...I'll get my M.A. instead of my M.B.A...that'll help me. The first B.A. I have is working wonders for me as well. Seriously...I just wait tables for FUN, thank you very much.

Anyway, my weekend didn't exactly work out as I had hoped. I worked Friday night, but I was an S.A. (Server Assistant) so I was actually out at a reasonable time. Saturday morning I went to Gus's with Jessica for breakfast. Then I worked Saturday night, S.A. again. Sunday I grocery shopped and napped before work that night. Sunday night was hell...HK was packed and I was a closing server. I ran my butt off but made huge bucks. Monday I slept in and went to breakfast with Jessica. I went to Old Navy and spent everything that I made on Sunday night, then I went to Blockbuster and rented some movies that I have no time to watch. Nice.

So I started to watch the second Lord of the Rings movie (Can't BELIEVE I haven't seen it yet) and made it through the first two hours before the phone rang and I had to listen to Stacy cry about how her boyfriend, Dan, is being a jerk yet again. Surprise, surprise. I don't mean to be a bitch, but there are only so many times that I can listen to these stories when it becomes impossible to sympathize. The guy is a total jerk, so why the hell won't she just break up with him? At a certain point it becomes just as much her fault as it is his. He treats her like crap, she lets him get away with it, so he will continue to do so until she either sets him straight or kicks him to the curb, neither of which she will do because she has absolutely NO backbone.

Anyway, afterwards I went to Lydia and Jen's house and had a complete blast. I'm just hoping I didn't look too much like an idiot (or an amateur) by getting so drunk. Hopefully I didn't totally embarass myself, though I'm thinking I did. I know I talked to Jeff when I got home...don't think much was said. I see that he called back on my caller id. Wonder what he wanted. I was too busy puking on my floor to know/care that the phone rang. I woke up and I still had my shoes on. I haven't done that in a long time.

Now I'm here at Hell-Hole Publishing. Sylvia is on vacation and Jen no longer works here...so I have nobody to talk to. It's going to be a long day. I have to work tonight and tomorrow night as well...so who knows when I'll get to see the last hour of Lord of the Rings. I'm desperate to see it already!
