2004-06-28 8:26 AM Ho Hum I found the most amazing loft for sale in one of the most amazing areas in Cleveland.
It has hardwood floors, exposed brick, oak beams, exposed ventilation (or whatever it's called), and gorgeous windows and vaulted ceilings. It's beautiful. And I can afford it. What's that about? Now my head is filled with IKEA wishes and Restoration Hardware Dreams. I just know that living at a place like that would make me a better person. Other than that my weekend was mildy amusing. Went to Jessica's on Friday night to drink some wine and had a really nice talk. Saturday I spend at home and later that night went to the Warehouse District for some drinks and dancing. We ended up spending most of the evening at the Blind Pig due to the fact that there was a pretty decent band there (oh...and there was no cover). The events of the night made me wonder, again, why I bother going to any bar that isn't on West 6th. Sunday I spent in the sort of lazy Sunday fashion that has been making me restless so often these days, only this week I handled it a bit better. I slept in and let the dogs out before grabbing lunch, returning home, and watching Amelie. Straightened the house a bit, went for a walk with Jess to get some ice cream, spent some time with LJ, and that's about it. It was nice. And a big yay to the coming four day weekend! I, for one, plan on getting down with my patriotic self and doing the sort of things that any proud American would do...drink that Budweister, grill that red meat, have some gratuitous sex, and watch Nascar. Of course, in my case, it'll be more like drinking a couple bottles of white, making some Thai food, going to a luau-themed wedding, and further boosting the economy with another trip to Borders (all worthy endeavors, I assure you). And of I go to the excitement that is the editing of Federal Government Human Resources documents. Hooray! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
