Simply because I have nothing else to say...

Is 26 too young to need a hip replacement? Anyone? Because I think I need one. Something is definitely up with my left hip-back-leg joint area, and it's pretty painful. I think that all the Advil in the world will not help me make it through my shift tonight.

In other news, my reckless disregard for decrees of HR continues today as displayed by the fact that I wore my black flip-flops to work and have gleefully fwap-fwapped all over the office. I'm sure I'll get some memo addressing the "thong" issue, and I fully intend to respond with a "I'm not sure what my choice of underwear has to do with the dress code" memo, but I'm sure I'll be caught under the "beach wear" clause. And tomorrow? The plunging neckline attack.

It's the small victories.

Other than the hip and flip-flop excitement life is pretty quiet. I've been doing all those things that normal adults are supposed to do and I manage to avoid doing at all, like car maintenance, errand-running, bill paying, appliance repair, and (*gasp*) house work.

Tomorrow I must wait at home all day for the gas man (who, according to the operator, will be there any time between 6 am. and midnight or some such nonsense), and fully intend on doing the pile of page checks I'm bringing home with me rather than sleep on the couch and watch movies with the beagles. I swear.

Supposed to go to the Static X concert tomorrow night, though I'm not sure my old bones can handle the violence. We'll have to see. Then it's work, work, and work for the rest of the weekend.

I guess I should wait until I actually have something to say before I post again. Maybe next month, sometime.
