2004-09-17 2:06 PM Things That Go "WOOF!" In the Night (I wanted to the title of this entry to be "Things That Go Poop In the Night" but I was trying not be vulgar, and "Things That Chew Shoes In the Night" just didn't fit. Keep in mind, however, that either title may apply.)
I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I am an undisciplined human being, therefore my dogs have no discipline. My short-lived plan to lock them up at night to keep them from doing things such as, oh, rifling through the cupboards and spreading flour all over the house has given in to..."but oh, I want my cute-wittle-puppy-wuppies with me when I sweep." I fully accept the consequences, whether they be flour or feather-covered (they get the pillows sometimes as well). That said, the spray-bottle training was very effective. Well, it was effective until the spray-bottle "mysteriously disappeared." I found it last night behind the entertainment center, and even if the nozzle wasn't covered with teeth marks, I know there is know way in hell I could've "accidentally" put it there. I again placed it on the kitchen counter for easy disciplinary access. This morning, it was gone. Again. Those little... In other news this bug bite on my arm will not quit. My entire arm is sore, from wrist to elbow to shoulder, and I feel sort of funny, so I investigated all sorts of bites on the internet to try and see if this one resembles any of them. I don't see any resemblance yet, but I'll keep checking (the bite, not the internet). On the bright side, this office is so unbearably cold today that the heat radiating from my bite is sort of helpful. I fully expect coworkers to stop by this afternoon to warm their hands with the heat from my forearm and chat about last nights' Survivor premier. Work tonight and tomorrow night. I'm thrilled at the prospect, as usual. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
