Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Morning has broken. Much to early for me since Michael's alarm went off at 5 a.m. He is going to the food bank. Today he was the first one there.

Me, I went back to sleep until my alarm went off at 6:15 a.m. Time for me to take my thyroid pill. Back to sleep until the housing authority guys woke me with their pounding and then my alarm went off at 8:30 a.m. for my pills at that hour. Bailey also wanted me to get up too.

Bailey was lying on my chest. His right paw on my face to the left of my chin. He attempted to give kitty kisses but I said no. I scratched his head and face. Later I would scritched the side of his head and then give him a kiss on the top of his head. He tolerated this for awhile but then wanted me to stop.

On the diarrhea front, I made it through the night without any accidents. I had one oops yesterday and a couple of more dashes to the bathroom and then that was it. But, whenever I feel like I want to fart, I head for the bathroom in case I had the Hershey squirts, so far, so good.

Prior to Michael arriving home, I took care of Bailey, fed the birds, watered the plants and the garden, cleaned up the kitchen, and made me a smoothie.

This morning's smoothie was comprised of a cup of milk, a tablespoon of flax seed flower, one banana, and one pear, three chunks of frozen watermelon and grapes that would fit in a cup. It is pretty tasty and begins my eating day.

I give blood today so I need to be fully fed and hydrated as much as possible. This will be the first time since August of 2009. They really want my blood because I am O-. This blood type is considered the universal blood because they can use it for everyone regardless of their blood type.

The other wonderful fun thing I have to do today is to get my mammogram.
