Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Okay, hi there.

Yesterday was a better day than the ones I have been having. I went to the food bank yesterday.

Michael's back is giving him fits and though I still was not wanting to deal with people, I trudged to the community center to stand in line to get my number for my place in line for food at 10 a.m.

Because I walked and on the way back from getting my number, I took the longer route to get to my house. So I got some physical activity in. I am sure this helped.

A pleasant surprise in going to the food bank, I had been conversing with one guy named Scott. Upon first notice you see that he has a prosthetic on his left foot. He also does not speak clearly. But, I could tell he felt like life was okay.

Well, in talking with him, he brought up about his accident. The more information he gave me, I realized I knew this man. The boyfriend and I at the time used to party with Scott and his girlfriend. They were such a cute couple.

It was so amazing to meet Scott again and so long after his accident. I remember the accident and visiting Scott in the hospital.

How strange after all this time to meet him again. It is a small world after all.

I am still not up to par but I am getting there.

Now, if I can get Bailey to quit attacking my arm in the morning while I'm sleeping, it will certainly be a good day.
