Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"The really great writers are people like Emily Bronte who sit in a room and write out their limited experience and unlimited imagination." - James A. Michener

Today is overcast and a bit cool. My alarm went off much too early - does this seem like a consistent gripe for me, I wonder? - and I was not ready to get up. Bailey didn't come in to give me kitty kisses.

My reason for rising earlier than usual was to get in my meditation time before I went to my morning Al-Anon meeting.

It was a good meeting and got to see some old friends I usually don't see because they work and cannot make this particular meeting.

Limited imagination has plagued me for the last couple of years. I want to write. I really want to write which is why I keep showing up here.

It is great to share my day with all of you and I love your feedback as it gives me validation.

Although my expectation is to write creatively; my imagination seems to be on vacation. I am not lacking in experience but I'm not sure how to creatively weave my experience into a story or just to share a part of my life.

Oh, I am so confused.
