Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Happy February!

Geesh, here a new month begins.

I did finish "11/22/63" by Stephen King and it was due back to the library today. I am surprised I finished this 849 page book in a week. But, a lot of my daily stuff went by the way side because of my reading.

I had planned on finishing up the Buscaglia book listed below and I even read a few pages.

However, Michael invited me to join him at the library so I went. I should never have gone in. I came out three Jim Patterson books:

" 10th Anniversary" with Maxine Paetro
" Swimsuit" with Maxine Paetro
" Kill Me if You Can" with Marshall Karp

Okay, my other books are going to take the back seat again.

It was foggy out when I left for the community center to get our number in line for the food bank.

After receiving my number - 6 - I went home to read more of the "11/22/63" until it was time to go back to the community center for our weekly provisions. By now - 9:45 a.m. the sun is shining and the chill has left the air.

With going to and from the community center I got in a 20 minute walk.

I scored though because Michael put away the food there were two - mind you TWO - bags of pretzels. How lucky can a girl get? I also came home with an apple pie, some sea salt, veggies and fruit, and oh yeah, a half dozen of eggs.

Not too bad for about three hours worth of time.

Back home again is when I finally finished the King book.

After going to the library, we drove uptown to get the mail and to the grocery store for the items we don't get through the food bank.

I am done for today. It is pizza and TV tonight and I'm ready.
