Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"I'd like to think that when I sing a song I can let you know all about the kicks in the ass I've gotten over the years, without actually saying a word about it." - Ray Charles

I didn't feel well this morning. I don't know whether it is allergies or I have a low-grade cold, either way it was hard to arise to the morning. But I did, I took my shower, washed my hair, and applied my make-up. I don't wear make-up all that often these days but lately I have been feeling the "want to" and so I do. Michael definitely likes it when I get "dolled up."

Michael was a mass of nerves. Luckily, he had taken his shower the night before and all he needed to do was to get dressed, wash and shave, and brush his teeth.

We were out the door by 9:15 a.m. The day is sunny and bright, a good day for an interview. We arrive at the parking lot by 9:35 a.m. Michael went in the front door by 9:45 a.m.

Me, I sit in the truck and read my latest book. I am more than half way through it. I might be able to finish it off by tonight. However, I do have some housework to be done.

Forty-five minutes later, Michael is back in the truck. He said all went well, he liked the feeling of the place, and he liked the people he got to talk to. So now the waiting game is on.
