Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"I hit my head against the wall because I don't want to know all the terrible things that I know about. I don't want to feel all these wretched things, but they're in me already. If I don't get rid of them, I'm not ever going to feel anything else." - Ntozake Shange

Depending on what is going on with me, I find I don't laugh very much; but then, I have always been a serious person even as a child.

This is when I find it does me good to go to meetings because there is much laughter there. I remember I don't have to be so serious and that if I really look at my situation, I can see the humor in it.

Quiet laughter makes the soul smile;D

I think that is why I write here at JournalScape. It parallels the quote above. I can write down my feelings and thoughts and get them outside myself. I get a reality check when those of you leave comments about what I am doing.

So all your comments are greatly appreciated.
