Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I have the strangest thoughts when I sleep or right before I fall asleep.

This morning I awoke needing to use the facilities and when I went back to bed, I laid down on my left side. I had been sleeping on my right side.

I had the strangest sensation that I was off balance. What is this all about? Then it came to me: If I had been sleeping on my left side for some time, would my blood have all pooled into my left side?

I have seen on the CSI programs about the lividity in a dead body where the blood pooled at the body's lowest point. So, that said, would the same thing happen during sleep? Is this why I feel off when I come back to bed and lie in a different position?

Hmmm, I need to ponder this awhile.

Walking Update:

Since I slacked last week in walking, I'm beginning this week with new enthusiasm. I found a new loop. This one takes an hour and 35 minutes and still has the same amount of hills. Different parts of my body are letting me know I am being physical. Plus I come home feeling pooped. I have to say I sleep well at night. Today I brought along my radio. I somehow feel having the music kept my mind active and not thinking about my complaining body and I kept my steps in time with the music. I really need to get my pedometer going so I know the distance I am walking. So, I am off to a good start for the week.

As for today's quote, I felt this way until my former mother-in-law informed me otherwise. She was quite adamant about it too. Granted a well-plated food does add to the sensory impact of eating. This much I have learned from watching the cooking shows and this brings me to tonight's dinner.

Michael baked some awesome chicken tonight. He used fresh rosemary from my little plant. My, oh my, it was tasty. Tomorrow night I am going to prepare a southwestern vegetable dish to go with the leftover chicken.

I guess this is it for today. See ya all tomorrow.
