Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I did not sleep well last night. Plus, Bailey was not a happy camper and wanted much attention. I finally got up but with no enthusiasm. I feel tired.

I had thought I might get out and walk today but it was not to be. Instead, Michael and I watched movies all day. Off and on we would check our e-mail or surf the 'Net. Nor did we receive any phone calls today.

Of note, my son turned 40 on Thursday. Gee, I don't feel old enough to have a son that age. I sent him a text but have not heard a word back. This is the way of our relationship.

I broke my Lent with a Coke and a bag of pretzels. Boy they were good. However, I feel I can leave them behind me. Especially the Coke, I can't remember now but it does have quite a bit of sugar in it. I would have to say the one that gave me the most problem was the pretzels. I do love salty things.

Well, I am off to my latest book.
