Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Sunday

I blew off church but I wish I hadn't. I just didn't have the energy or the where with all to be around people. I know this is probably the best time to be around people.

I checked my blood glucose and the number was down by 23 mgs. from yesterday's reading but still over 300. L'empress queried about testing solution for my reader. This was something not included in my kit. I will have to ask my doctor about this. I don't believe DH's kit came with testing solution either.

The day is sunny and this is good. I have three blooming flowers in the front and they make the entrance to our apartment quite cheery. I like this. I also watered them today since it has been a few days since the rain.

I don't think I told you that my friend C gifted me with a leafy green plant that wasn't doing well at her desk at work. I have it outside in front and it seems to be doing well and liking where it is. I say this because the leaves are nicely green and healthy looking. I will have to get out there and take some photos to share.

I can't think of much more to write for now.

Okay, I'm back. I have to tell you about Bailey's new toy. He has begun playing with the small stones I collect while walking. The stones are to go into the bottom of my flower pots to aid with drainage. He likes batting the individual stones around the dining room floor. I guess I had better get them into a pot.

The other day I read on my gardening newsletter that if you rinse your softener dryer sheets completely, you can use them in the bottom of flower pots to stop earth from washing out when watering.

All right, now I think I am done for the day. I hope everyone has had a joyous Sunday.
