Can you believe it; I have given myself two injections of insulin? Today's was a little harder to give only because the full realization of me giving myself a shot. Although, the after ouch wasn't as bad as yesterday's. And today I drew blood but my doctor said that would happen sometimes and not to be worried by it.

I did give the instructions for Michael to review. Just in case he needs to do the injecting in case I freak out and cannot do it. There is just something about choosing to do it yourself that is weird. But, I survived.

I have to say that about mid-afternoon, I began to feel better. I cleaned up the kitchen then went out and washed out two of Bailey's litter boxes. After perusal of e-mail, I actually felt like taking a walk.

I began thinking about walking up to the pharmacy to get my prescription and going to the post office. But that darling man of mine said he would do the errands and for me to take a walk for fun. I debated with him about this but decided to go with the flow. One of Michael's suggestions was to take some photos and I did.

Thus went my day.

I survived my second self-inflicted dose of insulin. This time I drew blood but doc said that would happen some times and not get excited about it. I had Michael go over the directions of giving these injections in case I really cannot and do not want to do this because it makes me so woozy. Although, I am of a mind to persevere because Michael may not always be around when I need my shot and I will have to do it.

Well, I'm off to have dinner and to watch some TV.
