Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"Believing in yourself is an endless destination. Believing you have failed is the end of the journey." - Anonymous ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The weather people were right this time. I don't know what the temperature is right now but I know it is hot. It was predicted for our area to be in the low 80s. Some places in the county will hit triple digits. I'm glad I don't live there.

When we got up at 7 a.m., it was light out already. We took some shots of the light coming through the blinds. It was very soothing looking into the sanctuary. Here are some photos. They are not as clear as I would like them but I feel you will get the feeling, at least I hope so.

Morning Sunlight

This is as Michael first noticed the light.

Close Up

This is a close up of my desk and window.

A Different Position

Just a different angle.

Heading for our walking loop we can already tell it is warm out. A light long sleeve shirt or jacket is all you need and before I am through, I have my shirt tied around my waist. I feel slightly winded but I feel this is because I did not walk yesterday.

However, it is a beautiful day. I'm glad I did get up at 7 a.m. and Michael with me. What a great way to begin the day.

Well today begins the "no plastic bags" for you, and if you want a paper sack that will be ten cents please.

Now, where am I going to put Bailey's little clumps from the litter box? I have been recycling those bags and now I'm going to have to buy little plastic bags instead. Actually, it's not that bad. Michael and I have been talking about this. We've decided to get a small covered trash can and use trash bags. I've seen some ideas in the kitty newsletter I receive. I feel once we go through the bags we have, we will be ready to handle storing Bailey's little clumps.

Back to the bags, we have begun leaving our store-bought reusable bags in the truck. Now if we just remember to bring them in with us the first time.

Yea! Just got back from the store and we remembered!

So, did anyone see the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles play last night on Sunday Night Football?

The first two quarters, I wondered why the teams even showed up. Just for the Patriots they punted five times. I assume the Eagles matched them as well.

It wasn't until the third quarter the Eagles finally made a field goal. I feel this and the fourth quarter were the best plays of the whole game.

I am finding as I watch each week, the differences between the teams and how they play. Who is good and who ought to be traded. But then, in a different game those that were not so good were good again.

All I know is last night's game had me and Michael on the edge of our seats.

Another thing about last night and Saturday night, did everyone get out to see the moon? OMGoodness, that is true beauty. We could still see the moon this morning while walking.

Michael has been streaming You Tube tunes for our musical enjoyment. On some of them we even get up and dance; to be our age and still be able to play. 8-D

Have a good day everyone!
