Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

After cleaning up the kitchen last night, I went out front to get a view of the moon. To see the moon was not happening. The fog had come in and all the lights were ringed with a halo.

I came back inside and headed for the back patio. My thoughts were it was later than usual when I go looking and the moon was lower in the horizon. This time I took Bailey with me since he had been fussing while I was out front.

Bailey 9 20 12

Daylight: Bailey just inside the slider door looking out

For the time I was moving around Bailey was fine but as soon as I sat on the bench, Bailey was ready to get down. Nah huh! I brought him inside and closed the screen but left the door open as the house feels stuffy.

Checking my date book I see that the full moon PDT will be 12:49 p.m. today.

The day has been one of enjoying the moment. Michael is having fun with his new Motorola Android Razor M phone. He has downloaded music and games. Now he will be entertained when he is waiting for me when I have doctor's appointments.

Speaking of doctors, I've have been receiving through the mail information from the new plan I have signed with in. At times I have been overwhelmed by the paperwork. I have had to take it a piece at a time. However, I did get my card and my coupon booklet and envelopes to make my monthly premium payments. I have only one medication in the tier four range that will cost me $95 if I stay on it. I think not. I see the doctor next month and I will discuss this medication with her. I'm sure there is something else I can take.

Today we took our walk much later in the day - after noon- thirty! Today, the guys were working on the road and we stopped to say hi. One had a GPS gadget. He showed us our elevation, the latitude and longitude and all sorts of stuff. He seemed pretty happy to show off his equipment. We also touched briefly on politics and I brought it around to the storm on the East Coast.

Granted we have had our share of earthquakes on this side of the Left Coast but for the moment they seems so small compared to this super storm bearing down on our family and friends on the Right Coast. I do hope everyone gets through this okay.

Looks like it is time for me to get ready to go out, I hope everyone has had a great Monday.
