Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I'm listening to music, I've read others entries, and still nothing comes to me on which to write.

Okay, so I've thought of something.

Yesterday, my husband and I began watching the series "Call the Midwife." We have one more episode to go and we have completed Season One. What a good show. It takes place in England and is about nuns and midwives taking care of the men with their health and the women as they become pregnant. There is also one scene where one of the main characters, a nurse as well as a midwife, takes care of an old veteran who has ulcers on his legs. She visits him three times a week and they are improving.

I shall not give away the story ending on this particular piece but the whole show really moved me. To see on a daily basis of these midwives and the humanity they get to experience. I feel it would take one strong person to be able to handle the people and keep them in perspective that no matter how beastly they can act, there is a human being in there.

Anyway, I say if you get a chance to see this series, do so.

Today's weather is superb. It is sunny out with a slight breeze and it is warm. I don't know the temperature yet, but it's warm enough to have the slider open to enjoy the fresh air.

It sure made going to the food bank a lot easier.

So for today, though my brain feels empty, everyone have a wonderful day.
