Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

The One That Got Away

Ah, yes the one that got away.

Whenever we have moved into a new abode, I've gone to every room and notified any spiders that they can live here as long as they don't scare. Scare me and they go straight to spider heaven with condolences to the family.

Well yesterday, I'm cleaning Bailey's litter box and I see out of the side of my eye something black and crawling down my shirt.

I flicked it off and thought I was done with whatever it was. Completely forgetting my rule of being scared. I thought it was off me but then I did have black sweat pants on.

Later in the kitchen I notice this black body crawling down the right side of my shirt. Now I go kinetic and asking Michael what it is.

He says not to worry that it is just a black house spider and they don't bite. All well and good but I don't want it crawling on me.

Michael brushed it to the floor and before I can send it to spider heaven, Michael asks for a paper towel and he scoops it up and takes it outside and releases it.

Arrgh.

I'm relieved but I hope that spider knows how lucky it was because it was saved two times and is now enjoying the great outdoors.
