Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Summer Solstice Ritual

Between Spring and Summer I go to the local Rite Aid store and hunt for a new pair of sandals. Usually the new pair is $10 or under.

This year I made it by Summer Solstice with this cute little black pair (the pair in the middle) with the white flowers on the heel. These do have a bit of a heel but not enough to bother the hips.

The other side to this ritual is that I donate a pair of sandals or throw away a pair due to wear and tear.

I tend to wear sandals from Spring to Fall and sometimes into Winter depending on the weather. What fun!
