Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I just saw a report on the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, which I have seen many others, about this contaminated water leak.

I live in California, and I wonder how long before that water reaches our coast? When will we know when this water will be affecting our fish? I live near Morro Bay and it is a fishing community and if this water comes here many will lose their only means of income

It seems no one is considering the dynamics of this situation? Or other areas in the path way of this waste water.

We have already had refuse wash up on our shores how much radioactive material came a shore with that?

To me it appears Japan is taking a relaxed stance to this situation and it makes me angry. I know there is a lot of work going on that they are not talking about.

Did you all watch the doings around the 50 year anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's famous "I have a dream" speech?

I was quite impressed and I was glad the weather cooperated for the most part. I feel it was quite a step that for the first time in our history we have an African American president. I found his speech quite moving.

To think I was nine years old when this piece of history happened.

My dream is that war stops all around the world and that people will all get along with on another.

Not much going on around here.
