I thought about not walking as I didn't sleep well last night but the drive was there and out the door I went with Sir Thomas my walking stick.

On the way I passed several folks who said "good morning" and I returned the reply. Weekends are fun because people are out and mostly in a good mood. I even stopped in at a yard sale but didn't find anything I needed or wanted.

The most interesting is the gentleman taking care of the sale had a live bird on his shoulder. Now that I'm writing about it I cannot remember what kind. It was smaller than a parrot but bigger than a parakeet.

Pains for today:

My arm where I received my flu shot is still tender. I've been rubbing it as the pharmacist said so the medicine would move around in my arm.

When I began walking this morning I felt a twist in the back of my heel. I walked it out and it was gone by the time I was half way through my walk. I will be happy if it doesn't come back.

So other than some housework, a jaunt at the State beach, it is going to be a low key day.
