Two quick items.
One, I highly recommend a new TV show called Modern Men on the WB, Friday nights. You can hold the snide comments on having nothing better to do on Fridays. I freely admit to being too tired to go out most Fridays but we record the show anyway. It's an excellent show, written and created by an old friend from high school who some of you local folks may have met at my birthday party a couple months ago. Laugh-out-loud funny. Sharp writing, imho. Other opinions are welcome as comments to this entry...Stars include Jane Seymour and George Wendt (Norm!!!!) Two, a momentous event happened today. For the first time in nearly eight years with this firm, I totally cleaned out my work e-mail inbox. All were dealt with or filed. I unfortunately often get 80-120 emails per day (sometimes even more) and as many of you can relate to, it's a constant battle to deal with them. I have a folder for each deal that I sort most of them into, but only after I have dealt with the e-mail in question. So on a typical day, I go home with 20-50 e-mails in my inbox, waiting to be dealt with. I was an e-mail Tasmanian Devil (Whirling Dervish?) today and I just kept banging until inbox was empty. It was like a miracle. Holly and I had a good laugh several months ago when our landscape architect, making excuses for why he was so late in delivering drawings to us, explained that he was getting around 20 e-mails per day and he was totally overwhelmed by them. That was hilarious. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
