It's nice to see an old friend in the news for something positive.

Susan and I went to the same high school and while we were not in touch afterwards, we re-connected when we found ourselves in the same class in business school at UCLA several years ago.

We ended up as co-directors of Anderson Outreach, the umbrella organization for the school's community service activities. I can tell you that she is a terrific person whose heart has always been in the right place...and while certain people from my class would engender a great deal of bitter jealously if they experienced success like Susan's, I can tell you that most people in our class, while they may be jealous, are not bitter, and say things like "it couldn't have happened to a nicer person." (And mean it.)
