Just when you you thought you were safe from further blog entries....BAM, here is another one.
On "This Week" last Sunday, George Will delivered a nice verbal blow to the religious right, accusing them of "semantic imperialism" in connection with them branding themselves as "values voters." Will said, "I've got news for you," and mentioned that essentially every voter in the US is a values voter--almost by definition, each one of us votes our values.
A good line I saw on TV recently was from The Daily Show, when during a "prediction" segment, John Oliver said that in 2009, President Giuliani's 4th wife will be a man named Nine-Eleven.
