I have been at LAX on seven of the past eight days, including dropping off some friends there today at 6:10 am.
During the seven days ending yesterday, I had taken eight flights, all point-to-point (i.e., none of the flights were just connecting to another flight). I had a crazy number of meetings and such (Monday - Friday last week) and my head is still spinning a bit. Then, we spent the weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area for some family stuff...we got to see Holly's family and I got to have breakfast with my brother Jed, both of which were great. Here are the flights I took-- Starting on Monday, June 16: Monday: LAX - Mazatlan Tuesday: Mazatlan - Culiacan Culiacan - Mazatlan Mazatlan - LAX Wednesday: (Work in office in Los Angeles) Thursday: LAX - Guadalajara. (Then drove from GDL to Aguascalientes.) Friday: (Drove back from Aguascalientes to GDL.) GDL - LAX Saturday: LAX - San Jose Sunday: San Jose - LAX Monday (today): LAX "Shuttle run" and then to work, where I have been nose to grindstone since about 6:45 this morning. ** As I write this entry, I can tell that the grindstone misses my nose terribly, so I am getting back to it. Of course, it's good to have a job. But if anyone ever tells you that international business travel is glamorous, send them to me for some re-education. I hope everyone reading this is doing well and having a nice start to their summer! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
