To two signs that I'm very tired:
1. When I am happy to see red lights on the way to work so I can close my eyes for a few seconds. 2. When five people get on the elevator and hit six different floor buttons (one being accidental), and I am happy so I can close my eyes for a few extra seconds. *** This WSJ editorial caught my eye. Handing over $200 million to a foreign country (that the vast majority of us couldn't even locate on a map) for no good purpose whatsoever is a customary thing that happens when people go to Washington to run things...they become blind to the scale of money. For us mortals, $200 million is still a giant sh*tpot of money. For folks in Washington, it's not even a rounding error. This kind of thinking makes it easier for them to hand over billions in taxpayer money to companies like GM and AIG. On that happy note, back to work.
