And found it burning bright, So I helped the poor great cat to see Its rear end was alight. Little thanks did I recieve Instead he turned to bite The very hand that saved its rear I steeled to set things right. So I ran as fast as deer can run (Or maybe faster still!) But a retreat to safety was to be A move to do me ill. For there I ran into a bear And tripped up on her cubs. The silly mother had left them lying there big furry, trippy, bubs! Yet she was quite a sight On her two back legs Trying to get my apology by cracking my head like a cook cracks eggs! Needless to say I couldn't accede To her amends I had a tiger to spank Nothing contends! So under I ducked and ducked well indeed Into the pond, With mouth full of weed! Tiger and bear now close behind I swam to make like frog in style to shake their hot pursuit Lo, then I espied! some help to recruit!
