ahream Dispatches from the City of Angels I'm a mystery writer living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my short story, "Running Venice," in the new anthology LAndmarked for Murder. Look for it in bookstores and on Amazon.com now. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often. |

2007-09-28 10:22 AM Funnel cake + mystery novel = good time Any excuse to go to West Hollywood is, in my opinion, a good one. But this is one of the better. It’s book fair time! Think of it: a fair – complete with fair food! – combined with a nearly endless supply of books. I’d go even if I wasn’t signing copies of LANDMARKED FOR MURDER, which I am.
LANDMARKED, in case you missed it, is an anthology of L.A. crime fiction, each story based around a different local landmark. Part travelogue, part spine-tingling thriller. The West Hollywood Book Fair goes from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday the 30th. You can find me at the Sisters in Crime booth from 10 to 11 a.m. located in the Mystery and Suspense Pavilion. And after you’ve stopped by to say “hi,” you can check out the twelve stages with guest authors and panels, the “how to” discussions, the writing workshops, the vendors, the FOOD. Oh, yes. The food. Details: Sunday, September 30, 2007 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. West Hollywood Park 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. See you there! Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
