Dispatches from the City of Angels

I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often.

Which way to my trailer?

Because my life never ceases to be random and bizarre and full of accidents that often involve food and household cleaning products, I have to report to the set of the television show Brothers and Sisters tomorrow where I shall play a coat check girl. (I am so not kidding.)

Do you know who's on that show? Sally Field. Also other lovely and famous people, but when you say "Sally Field," does anything else matter? I think not.

Here's the bad news. This is all I'll ever say about it. I know, right? I'd hate me, too. But I'm really, really happy to have this job, and the first rule of the internet is "don't talk about work on the internet."

You'll just have to buy me drinks in a bar to hear all about it.
