Well, with much duress I dropped Harry off at preschool. Miss Genie later informed me that the crying stopped as soon as I was around the corner. It pulls at my heart strings when Harry utters "I need you mommy". Ugh, Sorry kid. Even though I always pick him up and I am always there for him...I suppose it is just that. He knows me so well and knows I don't do well with the tears.

So, I dropped him off and head to Fallbrook where Carl was patiently awaiting my arrival. We talked about the plane and I nervously pre-flighted. You know I really have never walked around the Arrow by myself. I asked about what to do with the contaminated fuel and he suggested keeping a small pan in the hangar..he says his evaporates after a few days. Maybe I will try that.

We pulled her out and started her up no problem. We switched on the avionics and wouldn't you know that Carls jack was giving us issues. The radio worked but the jacks need to be tightened. I did all the radio calls from Fallbrook to French Valley and back. ( and Carl said I did realyl well)Our flight was pretty uneventful and Carl's landings were good. We did have to do a 360 when on our 2nd time into French Valley on a left downwind a Warbird was on a right downwind.(And this was after they were flying form and seemingly all over the place not paying attention to all the other traffic) DUH! And although we were first and I made our intentions clear he just kept on coming. It made both Carl and I irritated that this guy was just flying by his own rules.

Anyway, back to Fallbrook and I put her away. Carl showed me and I quote " a real airplane" Ha he laughed when he said that. The Mooney is a real beauty. Carls' cokpit is nice and tidy. He mentioned that he was envious of our Garmin 430. He just has all that old Nav stuff. Boy are we lucky.

We are going to gymnastics soon. Harry got a leash and collar for mamababy. I know that seems silly but he is so proud of that animal. Oh and he smiled while he said " i hate you" today, I asked him where he learned that...school. I tried to explain that hate was a very strong word and we really shouldn't use it. I know I say things like I hate this and that but not people. I told him that mommy would try not to use that word too.
