2005-10-31 7:32 PM Don't sweat the small stuff!
I have been reading this book and let me tell you this, this is a great quick read for every single teen out there. I recondmend this book to anyone who is interested. I been reading this book and going thouh it that relates to me. I really have to cool down a bit. I been going back in my mind and images are going through my mind that relate to the stories. Some good. Some bad. This book has almost everything. Stories of real teens and stories about experiances.
Teens (and their parents) will learn how not to stress out about homework, peer pressure, dating, and other potentially difficult areas.
Anyone who thinks teens have it easy hasn't been to high school recently. As the headlines remind us almost daily, America's teenagers deal with stress in just about every facet of their lives: academics, sports, social situations, family, life, money matters, even work. Now Richard Carlson, author of the Don't Sweat series, with over 20 million copies sold worldwide, applies the same techniques to teens that have made his other books required reading for anyone coping with life's everyday challenges. In simple, straightforward language, Dr. Carlson addresses common teen concerns such as:
"Make Peace with Your Mistakes"
As with his other Don't Sweat the Small Stuff titles, teens and their parents will find that Richard Carlson's positive approach helps to minimize the impact stressful situations have on their lives.
