What can a person do to be more optimistic in life?
Some of thiese answers i got from other peoples blogs from xanga.com

1. write down something good on your calender that happened to you. if you had a bad day then write down something you are gratefull for. Always focus your thoughts on what is going right in your life.just look forward. look to a new day
2. if you stress out over little things...you'll never get anywhere. You live once, you make mistakes, and things don't always go your way....accept the fact that there's always going to be things you can't control.STOP thinking of all the negative things
3. Live within your means, cut up credit cards and pay cash then you won't have bills pile up you can't afford.Be happy with what you have, learn the difference between want and need....appreciate what I have rather than what I don't
4.spending time with optimistic people
5.Spend time in the sunshine!
6.workout
7.smile. When you smile and/or laugh you tend to have a bright and positive perspective about things.
8.Open up, have someone there for you, to help you, it really changes your outlook.
9. IF YOUR THE RELIGIOUS TYPE: faith in A SPIRITUAL BEING OR OBJECT.Meditations, affirmations and visualization change your feelings about life from the inside out...
10. give rather than resieve
11. watch old time movies and listen tomusic back when your a kid.(this helps me)
12. look the part you were ment to be or imagin someone you look up too and pretend to be that people. if she or he is confident or nice or helpfull, be in theirn shoes.
13. express yourself, in an artic way!
