ok. so. this week is deceptively called the september holidays or break. or whatever they think it is.

it should be called let's all panic and die week.

my fantastic week so far:

1) CSI the real search: a big thank you to my team mates. yes i know. we screwed up and all. but hey. it was sort of fun. and we got 10th. which is kinda a miracle after it all dont you think? i will remember this for a long long time. running around hta at 3am, swabbing blood,dusting for fingerprints, snapping pics, running back to forensics labs... on to the next crime scene... sitting with you guys in the hall, all brain dead, blank faced and sweat soaked. hahaha. will never watch csi ever again with the same feelings.
and congrats to darren and his team. for bringing home the championship. proud of you guys. good on you!

2) pw at my place: urg. dan and xiang and sean and nick came over. to do pw. well. i wish we'd done only that. but no.... but had to go.... butting their noses around... but the damage isnt that bad... and then we went to nick's house for pokemon monopoly. where my amazing lack of skill for the game shone through anyway despite a good start.

3) today: i have been living in the past. literally. hahaha. an entire day of cold war. drowning in detente, reagan, gorbachev... i'm happy to be a historian. i fear i won't want to let h2 go if i have to at the end of the year.

4) later: shall go jogging to take off the steam.
