yay! Finally, today has come.
I am nearing the peak of pre-trips frenzy now. Last minute packing and whatnots.
Yesterday I felt kinda down... Reading my sister's connexio. I feel like I'm leaving Stnicks all over again. Goodness knows the first time was hard enough... It sucks to grow up. It really does.
And it makes me sad to know my juniors are retaining. Sigh.
On a lighter note, the throwers get Ms. Chan as a coach. So, I have no worries about their performance next nationals.

Sigh again. My siblings have been squabbling for the past 3 days. And I have had the joy of refreeing/ mediating/ negotiating/ keeping them off each other's throats. The UN should hire me. Really. I have excellent conflict management skills. No casualties on my watch yet.
Sometimes I can't live without them. But sometimes (like now) they have a knack for helping me to grow up and grow old before my time. On the other hand, perhaps this is a good thing in a world like ours.

My note-making skills are currently being enlisted to compile notes on Tokyo and Osaka. So much for getting a break...
What's left to be done by 5.30 (when I shall be zipping off to the airport):
1) Pack my jacket into my day bag. and my books. (Yes books. not book. its like 11 days!)
2) Make notes and print!
3) Shopping lists: because shopping is like fighting a war; and if you wanna win, you got to plan.
4) Get sweets: I need them for takeoff.

So, sayonara world. I shall be back soon.
Back to life. Back to reality. Back to nerdy me. But for now... I'm going to chill because next year is gonna be hell on earth and I intend to survive without biweekly meltdowns.

goodbye for now.
