1) I never studied grammar: English came with fairytales. And then it just came. I wrote things that sounded right in my head. I'm still doing it now. 2) I'm in the process of reading up about grammar rules: all foreign, all new, all complicated. 3) I am scared shitless that I have to teach something I have never formally learned. 4) Will put my mugging skills to the task asap. General Paper Rules: 1) Do. Not. Deviate. From. The. Topic: I'm supposed to keep it real and non-philosophical. 2) Absolute Proposition and Direct Argument and other funny question types: also all new and frightening. Life is getting busy. I am scheduled to lecture on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 1st period of the day+ subject I have never taken+ have to speak to 70 people in a lecture hall= a very terrified relief teacher. Wish me luck. Life Rules: 1) Travel while you are young: see the world, live the life. 2) Find your calling 3) Don't Teach: Unless you really, really want to. Thank you teachers. For being so frank and so easy to talk to. And telling me that arts and social sciences is a fantastic choice. I don't care if you're lying. Social Rules: 1) Some lines are not meant to be crossed: will keep this in mind. Haha. Yes. I have boundary problems. 2) Do only what you are comfortable with, say no to everything else: I have learnt to live by this. Haha. Yes I do tend to have problems (ref: 1)) But by far and large, I act as I feel is fitting. The one thing to remeber about rules, thanks to a teacher I remember very fondly, is this: Break the rules, don't get caught. Random: I'm craving Subway meatball marinara. Hahaha.
