A helpful list of things for new initiates to Office Lady life:

1) A thick, black cardigan.

2) HAND CREAM. I am currently trying out L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom. It smells yummy.

3) A panic pad: to be placed next to your telephone and for scribbling hurriedly.

4) Comfortable, black flats that allow you to pad around soundlessly in the office.

5) Sustenance: personal kettle, coffee, tea, munchies, airtight containers, honey, mug.

6) A lunch bag: this is usually a cloth tote that is used to contain a wallet, the phone, tissue paper and other essentials when escaping the office for lunch hour.

7) An umbrella- to be carried around in Item 6) for the dual purpose of protection from rain and chopeing tables. (What you do with a mini-umbrella is extend the handle to its maximum possible length and lay it diagonally across captured table.)
