*Last night I went for a jog during a light rain. For a moment I felt like I was a character on LOST. All that I was missing was Locke running behind me saying, "THEY'VE attacked us, murdered us..."

All feelings of character-identification aside, jogging in a light rain is very enjoyable and has the added benefit of making you feel like a badass. Trust me on this.

*Every time I make the executive decision to not take my purse with me when I go out, I almost always end up in a bind because of it. I won't go into details about the problems that resulted from my most recent foray into a life without a purse, but it isn't what you might think, and I could have died. (Ok, maybe not DIE, but I was looking at some serious discomfort)

*drinking/drugs, minors, and bowling do not mix well. I had the unfortunate experience of watching it all play out Friday night.

Message to the kids: I don't care how much fun it is to get totally shit-faced, you are annoying to the adults who have to actually be in the same room with you.

Rant over.

*I watched the Season 2 premiere of Heroes (finally). I feel less than impressed. I thank the network executive gods for not featuring Nikki's storyline on it, though. She is the weakest link in that show. I know Ali Larter was hired for the part because she's pretty and all, but I don't care for her acting. Squinting your eyes does not change you into a different character, at least in any believeable sense.

*I blame the dreary weather for todays bleak outlook on life. Tomorrow should be sunny and clear all over again.
