I'm head over heels for:

*The Riches.
I find this show captivating and different from almost anything that is currently on television. Granted, I'm not watching it on TV, I'm taking the advice of Mr. Eddie Izzard himself and watching it on Hulu. It's different watching Eddie Izzard in a manly, paternal role as opposed to the "male tomboy" version of himself that I've come to know and love. I love the quiet nod to his alter-ego that is portrayed in his youngest son.

As for Minnie Driver, I've never paid her much attention before, but I think this show highlights her acting skills quite well. She's tough and vulnerable, elegant and trashy, addict and soccer mom all rolled into one.

*Wall*E.
This movie was brilliantly animated. Another home run for Pixar, but I also like the social and cultural problems addressed in the movie. What I took away from this movie are warnings against gluttonous consumerism, idleness, wastefulness, and the perils of a "too connected" society.

Perhaps the children who watch this won't take away the exact same message, but seeing it in the form of a beautifully animated love story never hurt anyone.

*Flight of the Conchords.
Bret and Jemaine, you had me at "hey". I'm a sucker for musicians with wit and a chameleon-like repetoire. (Much like my favorite real-life band.) After completing the first disc of the Season 1, I can honestly say that I'm already a fan...although not nearly at the caliber of Mel.

*My Canon Rebel XT.
Especially once I learn how to use it, but I'm getting a little better every day.
