The English cricket team had a rotter of a day today. They lost all their batsmen with 99 more runs remaining to equal the Australian score; and, the Aussies would have another innings (and 10 batsmen) to score.

This whalloping white-wash, in three days of a five-day match, must make the English team laugh, or cry, and certainly wonder what it has to do to get Australia's measure.

For my north-American readers, imagine a Baseball match where one team pitches out the other team "three up, three down" every innings then bats in four to six homers in each of its innings.
