His name was Osama

His name was Osama (or one of several other 'European' transliterations of the Arabic name.)

It was not "bin Laden".

To call him "bin Laden" would be like calling Picaso "Maria". (Take a moment to click on the link and look up what I mean.) Or, God forbid, Prince Harry would be Henry IX; surely, he'd call himself King David [1; the First]. (His father, Charles, has said that he intends to be known as King George VII.)

So, let's call this person by his real name, rather than his 'family' name. He completely deserves that!
