Of overtime...WHAT WHAT?

I think the note I read was telling us what would happen if any of the managers go into overtime..."even one minute of overtime will result in being taken off next weeks schedule one full day. The second time this happens, you will be taken off the schedule for one full week. The third time, will result in termination. None of the days taken away will be paid. Period." When I read it, I saw a way of me getting that week off I wanted so badly. I also decided that I will not show up more than 2 minutes before any shift of mine actually starts, so they cannot ask me to punch in early and help them out. Tonight, I stayed late, as I just could not leave the manager with the slim crew she had. Perhaps I will get to go home early Friday? Don't hold your breath.

I heard it was rather warm out today, I really wouldn't know, as I never had an opportunity to go outside once I started. I was running a bit late, so I did not wear my riding pants, just my uniform pants. Staying extra hours meant I was finished at 10 pm, and it wasn't that warm any longer, and I missed my riding gear.

My tomato plant is thriving! I am guessing I will have many, many tomatoes this year! I won't eat one, but I love my salsa and spaghetti sauce. Mike likes to just eat them like an apple. I have been trying for 3 or 4 years, but I swear this area just isn't warm enough. I wasn't going to even attempt this time, but then I saw plants at Costco for $11. They were much bigger than I had tried before, so I said, fine, just once more...WOW! It is a tree! I think I counted 10 little grean balls, with many, many more of the yellow flowers. I am so excited!

Mike helped Caitlyn move a mattress into her new apartment tonight, then they went out to dinner. I am on my own, and I think I will just go to bed hungry, God knows I have enough in reserve that I will not die. I have to get up early, and babysit. Hope I set the alarm properly...

I started re-reading the Harry Potter books, in anticipation of the sixth movie. I will not finish them all, so I skipped ahead to book 6 last night. I have no idea how many times I have read them, when I don't have a new book to read, I fall back on them.

While browsing the books at Value Village a few weeks ago, I found a John Camp book! "The Fool's Run" It is a first edition, in great condition, for $2.99...I have nearly every John Sanford book in hardback, just a few to go. I nearly peed myself with excitement that day. Caitlyn thought I was crazy.
