A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

Spiffy Sewing Plans

Tue Oct 25 - I definitely felt better today than yesterday, although there were still moments throughout the day when I was gripped with stomach pain. Just small pangs, twitches really, but not all that bad.

One of the girls at work desperately was at a loss for finding the perfect outfit for an upcoming wedding she's attending in a few weeks. The theme is supposed to be "amethyst and platinum" and if you haven't been shopping in a while, everything is golds, browns, maroons, rusts, copper, etc. in the stores right now. The skirt she really wants is a simple design, so we went shopping at the local fabric store over lunch. We found a perfect material for the skirt and fabulous buttons to upgrade her silk blouse. Then we found the black lace cloth that I wanted for my Halloween outfit (the party on Saturday has a theme of "goth high tea: lace and hats"). And so as payment to me, for making her skirt, she bought my lacy cloth for me.

So now I have the sewing for myself and the sewing for Hope (at work, not Hope in my shire *waves*). I almost cannot believe I've taken this on, but it really should be fun in a crazy over-committed kind of way.
