A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

Sorting the Scraps

Mon Apr 17, continued - I spent my evening with Adrienne. First I picked up most of the camping equipment that I borrowed, and earned lots of walking steps packing the car at home, then unpacking it at Adrienne's. We just spent the evening chatting and catching up, which was incredibly restful and wonderful. Jeff made it home while we were still there, a nice surprise, so the three of us just got to veg and chat. *aaahhhh, contented sigh*

Tue Apr 18 - But sadly, I lost my pedometer somewhere between their living room and packing the tables and chairs in my car to go back to my apartment. So I picked up a new one at Target today, and it has a "sensitivity" dial so that it picks up your steps more accurately. Darn, it's more accurate and not hyper inflated. I'm going to have to =work= for my steps now. *giggle*

Work is still fairly swamped as we all finish our Beta review of these on-line tutorials. I'm going to need to be in REALLY early tomorrow, to make certain I'm all done.

But I got caught up on emails, website updates, paying bills, sorting scraps of paper, and filing my personal stuff after work, and now I'm headed out to join friends for fencing in the park and coffee afterwards. Ken gave me a Starbucks card when I dropped him off at LAX on Sunday night, and it turns out to have $20 on it. Spiffy! Free drinks for a while, care of a darling friend. Yippee.

Today's Blessing That I'm Thankful For: Eric Mosher, for still keeping in touch and for laughing at all my jokes. Thanks, Sunshine!

Exercise: Walking in the park tonight.
Weight Loss This Week: Tue 4/18 19.0 total lost (up 2.0 from yesterday) Scales are weird. That's all I've got to say about that.
