In 1993, we had something like fourteen or fifteen days of fires here in Los Angeles. A month or so later, the city was rocked by riots. And in January of 1994, we rocked and rolled again with earthquakes that just didn't stop.

I shall be watching the news carefully. If the riots happen, earthquake preparedness shall go into effect. Not that I believe it is a ten year cycle.

But it doesn't hurt to be prepared.
