Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

A Garden Day

Pages Written... 4
Exercise Done... 3 hours gardening

No cough syrup today! I actually felt pretty normal all day, in spite of the heavy winds. Hubby and I put in our raised beds for our veggie garden today. We've got three so far, will end up with a total of four, and used all the excess fencing wood that's been laying around causing trouble. On the books to grow this year: Tomatoes: Roma, Big Boy, and Cherry; Zucchini, of the Black Beauty variety; Rocquette, a type of lettuce that is on pizza in both England and Italy; and garden lettuce mixes. I also have tons of onion sets that I should have planted back in September, but didn't, so I'll probably toss those in too. We started our seeds yesterday, so we're a bit late on that part.

My freesias are all blooming. Ahh, what a scent! And the new lemon tree is busting a gut with it's blooms. So wonderful. My garden is truly a haven now.

We had the nurses over for a 'thank you' dinner tonight. (Oven-fried chicken, salad, garlic cheese biscuits, and chocolate cake for dessert for those who REALLY want to know.) I mentioned the cough syrup I was taking, and the male nurse burst out laughing. Basically I'm drinking liquid vicodan! Jeeze Louise! He said during the day I should probably drop to a half-teaspoon, and at night only one teaspoon if it's bothering me.

Ya know, the doctor should've said something.

But I got more pages written today, and I'm almost done with the chapter. And more will come tomorrow.

Sleep now.
