Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Finally got the bones of the turkey into the big soup pot, after of course browning some carrot and celery and onion and garlic to help the broth along. Will boil that for quite awhile before straining it and transferring the liquid to the crock pot. Fresh carrot, onion, parsnip, celery, turkey and barley will make a wonderful soup to come home to.

Fall is still in the air, thank goodness. There's a nip to it that makes putting on layers a good thing. The roses have gone crazy with bloom after the cold snap and the rain, the herb garden is looking lush, and my garden is starting to recover from the heat of the summer as well. There's just something about Autumn and Spring that I adore. Some extra-exciting element that the garden gives to me that I don't get in Winter or Summer. I feel exalted, almost, walking in my garden and seeing life all around.

The boys had a good time at their commercial audition. Hubby said our youngest did great, so we may cautiously steer him in that direction. Elder son was very much a teenager, but he did well, too, if just a tad more self-conscious. Hubby has another audition today, which makes 3 for this week so that's a good thing. We just need him to book a few before the holidays to really perk him up!

Writing is going well. I'm almost afraid to mention it for fear of jinxing everything. But I'm truly enjoying myself again, and that's worth gold. So I'm going to get back at it.
